Hey everyone,

I wanted to share my recent experience with Xfinity Mobile and how I managed to address what I believe was fraudulent behavior on their part. Hopefully, this can help others in similar situations.

My Story with Xfinity Mobile: I signed up for Xfinity Mobile, lured by their attractive promotional offers. Specifically, it was a "Buy One Get One Free" deal on unlimited lines ($30/month discount), $15 discount on internet service and the promise of a $100 gift card for each new line. Sounds great, right? But here's the catch: they only applied the promotion for one month and never gave me the gift cards. After countless contacts and reassurances, nothing happened. After I filled complaint with FCC, I received a call couple hours later offering me only half of the promised discount. lol

Steps I Took: Frustrated and feeling cheated, I decided to take action. Here’s what worked for me:

  1. File a Complaint with the FCC: They handle issues with telecommunications services. You can submit a complaint online. This should be your first step.
  2. FTC Complaint: The Federal Trade Commission deals with deceptive business practices. Filing a complaint with them helps in case of fraudulent promotions.
  3. State Attorney General: They can help with consumer protection issues. Every state has an office that you can reach out to.
  4. Local Utilities Commission: If applicable, they can sometimes intervene in such disputes.
  5. XFINITY NOTICE OF DISPUTE: Search this on Google and fill out the form. It’s a direct way to formally raise your issue with Xfinity.

My Advice: Don't let it slide. Companies like Xfinity Mobile rely on consumers giving up. Filing these complaints might seem tedious, but it’s the best way to hold them accountable. And it works! After I took these steps, Xfinity Mobile started to take my complaints seriously.

I hope my story helps anyone dealing with similar issues. Stand up for your rights, and don’t let big corporations push you around!

P. S. FCC complain was fastest and most effective so far.
