Customer retention line called me on March 6th and offered me a seemingly comparable plan to switch back to Rogers mobile. Turns out, they put me on a Fido plan so switching over would be a downgrade – as Fido plans do not offer 5G connectivity. I now have to waste my time and cancel my account because the retention specialist who signed me up failed to mention that it was with Fido and not ROGERS. Lesson learned. I'm now going to just stick with Public Mobile since their plans are superior.
