A month ago I placed an order for an electric kettle and the order came 2 weeks later. upon reading the manual I connected it to the electricity only to see shown on display "E2" error which according to the manual means it's faulty defective item. I tried to contact the manufacture with no response on email and phone.
Today I contacted Amazon in the chat for this issue, explaining them I don't only want a return but a replacement. no matter what they didn't want to help with replacement or sending a new item. I then offered they would initiate a return (even I didn't want it to cause a problem with return rates) and meanwhile I'll place a new order and pay for it but I asked them to help me with faster shipping and also stated that the price was 10$ less while I placed the order.
They didn't care, I've been transferred today from maybe 12 agents with no earlier notice. just suddenly disconnected. I then phone called to Amazon paying for the high cost calls abroad, I was talking to a REALLY rude guy there who told me there's no possibilities from his side and just jumped to "if there's nothing else I would hang up the phone now".
I was shocked and asked for a supervisor and he just HANGED UP the phone. I contacted again and a nice lady answered and offered to help as she understood. she puts me on hold for 15 mins while were waiting for some expertise team and the call got disconnected. no one contacted me back.
I tried again a few times with chat and again just being transferred from one to another suddenly. it's seems like a systematic method to not hurt their rates. this is RIDICULOUS! This is a shame for a company who once was and known as the best-ever customer service. this is just a shame. I've never encountered such a treat as a customer.
TLDR:
Received a defective product. Amazon could only initiate a return, no help with replacement or faster shipping, no help with changed price. Just being transffered all-day from one agent to another as what seems like a systematic method to not hurt their assistant's rates. on call I've been hanged up and no matter what don't take their word for granted.
WORST-EVER CS.
