AHS prolongs what should otherwise be straight forward repairs. The last repair sent me over the edge. I had requested my stovetop to be repaired/looked at since a few of the burners were not working. AHS sent out a local repair company - who has less than stellar reviews. The repair company said the control board was pest infested.
I asked them and AHS for pictures and copies of the work order. I was refused by the company and AHS gave me the same explanation without providing photos, directing me to call the repair company.
At the end of it all, I still have 50% of a stove-top so I need this fixed.I called the repair company and was told they could not proceed with a fix because I had to call AHS. Okay? I call AHS and am told the warranty will not cover pest damage. Fine. I ask what do I do next... they say call the company. So now I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. Neither the repair company nor AHS will tell me next steps. So my deductible is down the drain.
This is not the first time I'e experienced something like this with AHS. They get the cheapest and most of the time, not the highest rated or respected contractors out to save $$$. They DO NOT have your repairs/interest in mind. They want to save as much $$$ as possible.
I immediately canceled me policy.
