I was a Verizon customer for 20 years until I recently switched to Mint. I used to be able to justify paying extra for an account with Verizon when the service was reliable and available. However over the years, the price has increased as the service coverage is noticeably worse, and even non existent since the 'evolution' to 5G.

In the event their website or app functions properly, it is a mess to navigate or find account information. Customer service reps are equally, if not more unhelpful in getting you information that should be easily accessible. But have no fear, you'll confirm your identity 6 different ways before still, getting little to nowhere.

The coverage and customer service that Verizon provides is not worth the entry fee, or even half of what they charge. Don't waste your time or money.
