Just when I thought Verizon was tired of their horrible reviews and FTC fines and was making an effort to be a less offensive consumer company, they went back to their rotten roots. We made the mistake of upgrading our phones with Verizon. Like others we got hammered. Their phones are "locked phones" meaning you are locked into Verizon. Verizon loaded over 70 apps and changed all of our settings on the new phone set up. They then charged us $30x2 for this abusive service. They said our former phone plan was no longer available and we had to take an "unlimited plan" One time UNDEFINED charges of $65 and $28 on top of the other unfair charges, represents the ultimate rotten tech company practices. It took us two weeks and two trips to the Verizon store to get all of the settings and unwanted apps removed or disabled. Still having to deal with Google "enable play" harassing pop ups every minute. I will give Verizon credit for the changes they made to MyVerizon on line app. Much more information is now available and the common billing complaints are being addressed. Customer Service is a new night mare. No more domestic English speaking help desk people. All calls now go to an overseas no English, no knowledge of plans no service contractor. Horrible.
