I'm writing about my horrible experience with "Sears Repair Services". The repairman came to our house April 20th and repaired our LG washing machine. The service call was $119.00 (for the call) when the repairman finished the job and I had paid him, he said "my receipt was immediately in my email for $446.37". After the repairman left I jumped on the computer and priced the part, it is only a $25.00 part. I was charged $350.00 for the part alone. I have never received my receipt. I immediately contacted Bank Of America (whom I have my credit card with) to tell them what had taken place. They told me to call back on Monday. I called on Monday the 22nd of April and the posted transaction had a "discontinued phone number" for the Sears charge. I have been calling Sears continually and constantly. Everything is automated, you cannot talk to anyone, there is no billing department, (even though you know they have one). This is a nightmare from Hell!!!! I even tried other departments, they all said they would take care of it and promised I would receive my receipt. Still no receipt. This is a travesty! What company does business and doesn't give you a receipt? I have then emailed 3 separate letters to Sears and still "no reply and no receipt". I finally reached the complaint department by a miracle. They again told me they were putting in for my receipt and that they were requesting it to be "expedited". I am contacting the BBB, the US Department of Agriculture, and going to be posting my story everywhere! Sears used to be the best and most reputable company, "NOT ANYMORE"! They need to make this right!!!
Sears-Not anymore!
