As many others have said, a no star review is not available, so here is 1 star.

I do not have words to describe how dysfunctional and dishonest this company is. Things started out o.k., they sent out a contractor to repair our broken A/C. Over the course of two weeks, the A/C was finally repaired, and the contractor advised us to pay him directly. I have now spent over a month trying to get reimbursed by AHS. The diagnosis provided to AHS apparently stated "The wiring was messed up causing the unit to not cool, the contactor and everything has been messed up."

The claim was denied for "misuse or abuse. The only "use": of the A/C was when we turned it on for the first time (after it functioned perfectly during our property inspection at purchase in January.).
It ran ok for 20 minutes when we first turned it on in June and then it stopped. That is the extent of our "use". There was no misuse or abuse. The contractor had told us that the wiring was installed incorrectly.

(a) Normal Wear and Tear;
(b) Improper Installation or Repair (other than Mismatched
HVAC Systems) that were not known or reasonably
detectable by you;
(c) Insufficient Maintenance;
(d) Rust, Corrosion, or Sediment; or
(e) Mismatched HVAC Systems that were existing in or on
your Covered Home prior to the start date of the Plan
Agreement Term."

I have spent over 3 hours on the phone with AHS over the course of 8 phone calls. Each time I called I got a different story or excuse. They have now stopped returning my phone calls.

This is hot a huge amount of money ($575.00), but the warranty should cover what it says it covers.

Under all circumstances, DO NOT PURCHASE A WARRANTY FROM THIS COMPANY.
