I wanted to close my account. I hated the new self checkout…bright LED lights and security cameras. Makes this honest person feel horrible. So I make the call, the customer service guy kept pushing me to answer why I was closing my account. I keep saying I just want to close my account. This went back and forth several times. Finally, he said he closed it and the call ended. Fast forward…I found out my last autopay was rejected. Target says it wasn’t them. Lie! So then they start the late fees and interest. I finally agreed to settle for a $40 service charge. For something that wasn’t my fault. The guy who closed my account never said you have to make your final payment manually or that your autopay would be turned off. Target played dirty and hurt my excellent credit rating. What a load of crap! I appealed with Experian and Transunion. No use because Target won’t admit their mistake. So glad I will never shop there again. They are an arrogant corporation. Go out of business Target. We don’t need you.
